Streetwear X Ripped Jeans

Hello fam! Hello fall I mean fall-ish ...since the summer doesn't seem to be quite yet over.

Small Epistle...
Yesterday I had a self discovery moment when a little elderly Asian man indulged me in a conversation as I stopped to grab my morning coffee on the way to work. So then after I downloaded my life story to him (just kidding, Mama taught me better than that). Long story short I left realizing that I've been quite privileged and wouldn't have had things any other way. Something I already knew in my mind but not in my heart...funny how we always seem to focus on what's not working all the time as humans which is normal but it's just better to breath at the same time. So I thought to myself despite the challenges and hurdles I've faced (still am) I have a pretty decent life so far. I decided to stop for a second and smell the roses(count my blessings), live each day wisely and in the here and now because we don't get today back once it is gone. It's interesting how the random and unexpected interactions can dig up so much richness that could otherwise go unnoticed.

I'm thinking street wear because everybody loves to look cool, chic and casual. I feel like I've got all kinds of rebellion going on with this look and I'm loooving it! This is a small part of me you'll only see once in a while as the need/mood arises and when it shows in my styling as you can see. I've got on a simple T-shirt which I talked in for a more flattering outcome. Then I finished the look with some accessories for some character, I chose to use a choker and a belt plus a not so hidden surprise, fishnet nylons which you can see through rips of the denim.

You can wear this look with a cute sweater and I'll definitely be doing a post on that as well.

Ciao Bellas!

I Turned My Sun Yellow Maxi Skirt Into A Dress

Hi guys! I Hope you enjoyed the last post!? Today I'll be showing you how I wore a maxi skirt like a dress or how I turned it into a two piece wear however way you want to put it. I love this skirt because it is so big and comfy like a blanket (a need for the winter matters)...and then you've got the beautiful yellow...yass. This look was inspired at the very last minute while I was packing up for a photoshoot because initially it wasn't one of the things I was packing up that day. The skirt caught my eye in my wardrobe and immediately I remembered that I had a crop top which I had recently bought from H&M, so I thought to myself what if I wore this skirt in a way that I'm not helping everyone  to sweep the floor with it for a change(haha!)...and behold the look was birthed!

Every time I've worn this skirt I've pretty much always had good vibes only. I think if one should dress up, the clothes they're wearing should always make them feel great or say s…

Today's Outfits So we decided to go all monochrome (solid colours) in order to create a contrast which turned out great as the two outfits complimented each other in a cool way! Notice that we're wearing almost opposite shades of necklaces in order to maintain a connection between both the outfits.
