The Off-Shoulder Shrug Language.

Hey there poisers! Happy girl here. Happy Friday! What do you think about off-shoulders?

They are trendy for one and they have a way of making one look very elegant, classy and sexy at the same time. They come in many styles of tops, shirts, blouses and dresses.
Here you see a white and blue stripped off-shoulder top which I got from Zara a few months ago worn with high waisted jeans and tucked in.

There's something about these jeans! High waist pants or denims are always a good look. You can also wear them with crop tops which happpens to be one of my favourite looks.

Tip: The trick to wearing off shoulder tops is to wear a strapless bra/undergarments...or if you don't possess any of those then you can simply use a safety pin to hold or pin down the straps to the off-shoulder top or dress and that way your bra straps have no way of peeking out unto your shoulders, hence a more seamless outcome. If you're having difficulty keeping the shoulders "off" i.e. in the right place then just stylishly shrug your shoulders a little. πŸ‘Œ

Can you think of any accessory you would add on?

If you're feeling a little too plain and need to add some more fun into your outfit, simply loose the black shoes and switch up to any other colour. A pair of light couloured shoes will do if your outfit is blue like mine or if your outfit is some other primary colour besides blue

Remember you'll always need to put on one more thing to complete your look! Do you know what it is?
That's right, you'll need Sugar, Spice and some Poise.♡♥
D'accord, au revoir!

Thanks for visiting. Next post coming up soon can't wait!

I Turned My Sun Yellow Maxi Skirt Into A Dress

Hi guys! I Hope you enjoyed the last post!? Today I'll be showing you how I wore a maxi skirt like a dress or how I turned it into a two piece wear however way you want to put it. I love this skirt because it is so big and comfy like a blanket (a need for the winter matters)...and then you've got the beautiful yellow...yass. This look was inspired at the very last minute while I was packing up for a photoshoot because initially it wasn't one of the things I was packing up that day. The skirt caught my eye in my wardrobe and immediately I remembered that I had a crop top which I had recently bought from H&M, so I thought to myself what if I wore this skirt in a way that I'm not helping everyone  to sweep the floor with it for a change(haha!)...and behold the look was birthed!

Every time I've worn this skirt I've pretty much always had good vibes only. I think if one should dress up, the clothes they're wearing should always make them feel great or say s…

Today I'm sharing with you what I wore to a Nigerian Wedding last weekend. That of a Nigerian Groom and a glowing melanin beauty from the Caribbean.
I first wanted to wear a western look as usual but then decided to experiment with a more Africanized look. Now anybody who knows me knows I don't like wearing traditional clothes at all, simply because I'm not too keen about that whole trad look as much as I want to be ...not sure why something about it just never clicks for me and I don't get as excited as other people(whether worn on me or others)...God help me! Lol. Am I alone on this? (Tell me your own take in the comments below or email me). However social media has been contributing to fixing t…
