So we decided to go all monochrome (solid colours) in order to create a contrast which turned out great as the two outfits complimented each other in a cool way! Notice that we're wearing almost opposite shades of necklaces in order to maintain a connection between both the outfits.
Hi guys! I Hope you enjoyed the last post!? Today I'll be showing you how I wore a maxi skirt like a dress or how I turned it into a two piece wear however way you want to put it. I love this skirt because it is so big and comfy like a blanket (a need for the winter matters)...and then you've got the beautiful yellow...yass. This look was inspired at the very last minute while I was packing up for a photoshoot because initially it wasn't one of the things I was packing up that day. The skirt caught my eye in my wardrobe and immediately I remembered that I had a crop top which I had recently bought from H&M, so I thought to myself what if I wore this skirt in a way that I'm not helping everyone to sweep the floor with it for a change(haha!)...and behold the look was birthed!
Every time I've worn this skirt I've pretty much always had good vibes only. I think if one should dress up, the clothes they're wearing should always make them feel great or say s…
Well hey there! Issa my first post of the year! Let me officially wish you guys a happy happy new year! What was your biggest or most favourite milestone in 2017? For me I would say one of my favourite ones would be the fact that I started blogging... although I'm not where I want to be yet due to lack of time and other things that have been taking me away from you guys (like my crazy work schedule for starters) so yeah I'm unable to give it my all just yet however I'm quite content thus far and I do believe that this journey is going be getting a lot more exciting this year! I would like to work on quality first before quantity, consistency and helpfulness among others so help me God. Amen. 2017 was definitely a year of blessing, changes and growth for me. I had a few challenges in the last little bit of the year but I came back strong because yo girl is relentless. The devil thought he had me but through God's help with continuous and fervent prayers from myself, my…
Hey guys! So in my very last post of 2017 I did a look with a green sweater and a pleated skirt. Some of you really enjoyed the look and the feedback was encouraging. So now here is the same sweater styled differently as I promised I would show you.
What I Wore
Sweater: Urban Behaviour
Lumbar Jacket : Thrifted
Sneakers: @FashionAccessries (IG)
Hey guys! So it's the last day of 2017!!! How was everyone's Christmas? Aren't we truly lucky or rather blessed that Christ came as a gift for us? In this post I chose to style a green sweater, with this gorgeous pleated skirt and these cool pair of white sneakers from @fashionaccessries (Ig) and then I gracefully draped over a cream raglan overcoat. This look can be worn casually on a day out in town especially during the holiday shenanigans. It can also be dressed up by simply sliding on a pair of heels to look even more sleek. Can you imagine the pop the in transformation?
I will also be styling this sweater differently in a separate post which will be my next post so stay tuned if you'd like to see it or click the subscribe button (up top) to be notified once it's up.
Hey poisers! Been a minute! Is it just me or do you guys ever feel like you just couldn't have enough sweaters in this cold weather and feel the need to keep buying and buying them sweaters!?! Or what's worse does anyone find that their closets/wardrobes are unintentionally or intentionally stacked up with all of the same kinds of sweaters or all similar colours? I recently noticed that I'm always inclined towards getting grey, brown, white or and black ones(black ones are my faves btw). Well sweat it no more! The simple secret in curing (haha) that mindset lies in how you style your sweaters. This season I'm going to be playing around with sweaters! Feel free to join me in this experiment!
